MaXXXine - 1st March

The final installment in Ti West’s throwback slasher trilogy (following the critically-acclaimed double punch of and Pearl). Adult star Maxine Minx (Mia Goth) heads to Hollywood looking for her big break, only to find a killer stalking the streets.

This time around, West is fully embracing the glitz and grime of ‘80s Los Angeles - all neon-drenched streets and shady alleyways - and dialling up the gore, as you might expect from a true ‘80s slasher. Appointment viewing for horror fans.

Black Dog - 2nd March

Set in Northern China, on the outskirts of the Gobi Desert, this drama follows Lang (Eddie Peng), a former motorcycle stuntman who is trying to rebuild his life after being released from prison.

In an effort to make some cash, he seeks a bounty placed on a wild dog - part of a larger clean-up operation in anticipation of the upcoming Olympic Games. Of course, Lang soon forms an unexpected bond with the outlaw pup.

Harold and the Purple Crayon - 7th March

An adaptation of the beloved children’s classic. Harold (Zachary Levi, Shazam!) has a magic crayon which brings anything he draws to life; he also lives inside the pages of a book.

When his narrator disappears, Harold draws a door to the real world and sets out to look for him. Hijinks ensue.

Also stars Jermaine Clement (Flight of the Conchords) and Zooey Deschanel (New Girl).

Blood For Dust - 8th March

Kit Harington (Game of Thrones) and Scoot McNairy (A Complete Unknown) star in this thriller about a travelling salesman forced to run drugs and guns across state lines.

The Good Half - 9th March

Drama starring Nick Jonas. When Renn returns to his hometown for his mother’s funeral, he begins to heal old relationships, forges new ones and is ultimately forced to confront his own grief.

Also stars David Arquette (Scream) and Elisabeth Shue (The Boys).

Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1 - 14th March

The first part of Kevin Costner’s massively ambitious, self-funded, four-part Western epic, which covers the end of the American Civil War and the beginnings of westward expansion.

The film features an ensemble cast, following several interconnected characters as they attempt to forge a new life in the newly-founded frontier town of Horizon. Stars Costner himself, alongside Sienna Miller (American Sniper), Sam Worthington (Avatar) and Giovanni Ribisi (Saving Private Ryan).

AfrAId - 15th March

A sort of modern-day reimagining of ‘70s schlock classic Demon Seed, this tech thriller follows an everyday family selected to test out a new smart home run by AIA, an Alexa-like digital assistant that will do anything to serve the family. Even kill…

Stars John Cho (Star Trek), Katherine Waterston (Fantastic Beasts) and David Dastmalchian (Late Night with the Devil).

Skincare - 16th March

A paranoid thriller about a famed Los Angeles aesthetician who begins to suspect that one of her up-and-coming rivals is attempting to blackmail her.

Stars Elizabeth Banks (Pitch Perfect), Lewis Pullman (Top Gun: Maverick) and Nathan Fillion (Castle).

It Ends With Us - 21st March

Based on the bestselling novel by Colleen Hoover, this romantic drama tells the story of florist Lily Bloom (Blake Lively) as she navigates the reappearance of her former love and her current, abusive relationship.

If nothing else, this is probably worth watching to see the origins of those extremely public lawsuits between feuding stars Lively and Justin Baldoni…

The Wasp - 22nd March

A dark psychological drama, adapted by Morgan Lloyd Malcolm from her own 2015 play. Estranged friends Carla (Natalie Dormer) and Heather (Naomie Harris) reunite over a cup of tea, during which Heather asks Carla to help murder her husband.

Noah’s Ark - 23rd March

Animated Biblical adventure about two enterprising mice who manage to con their way onto the titular ship, and must contend with a power-hungry lion.

Sneaks - 28th March

An animated adventure about… shoes? Yes, this is a real film.

When a shoe collector steals his sister, Ty (Anthony Mackie), a designer sneaker, must venture out into the mean streets of New York City to track her down. Also stars Martin Lawrence (Bad Boys) and Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix).

Babes - 29th March

Eden (Ilana Glazer), a ferociously single young woman, discovers that she is pregnant after a one night stand, and leans on her best friend Dawn (Michelle Buteau) - a new mother - for help and advice.

I’ll Be Right There - 30th March

A heartwarming comedy drama about a woman navigating various complexities, including her pregnant daughter’s upcoming wedding, her mother’s ill health and her son’s uncertain future.

Stars Edie Falco (The Sopranos) and Bradley Whitford (The West Wing).
